Yes, this is very random but Jeff was very excited about his new deep fryer so I figured it was worth a post. For the past couple years, Jeff has really wanted a deep fryer and this year for Christmas he finally got one.
One night we decided to test it out. Using some yummy halibut caught by one of our good friends and sweet potatoes, we created our own fish 'n' chips.

We learned some lessons (the fish needed less time and apparently sweet potatoes are too soft to fry well) and look forward to more experiments in the future!
