On Nana Bea's actual birthday, all the granddaughters and great-grandkids were invited for a tea party. This was Lily's first tea party and she was so excited. She got dressed for the occasion and was ready to go party at Grandma's.
And there was time to take a few sneak peaks at all the goodies on the table. Charlie was particularly interested in all that was going on.
Grace, who has had lots of tea parties at Grandma's house, was eager for tea to start. She loves eating strawberries, scones, and jam sandwiches.
Lily spent most the tea party in her bassinet sleeping but she did get to join us for the last few minutes. Nana Bea had decided that for her birthday, she wanted to get everyone else a gift. So Lily joined us to open her present (girly cars so she can still play with all the boys!).
Thanks Grandma for throwing such a fun tea party!

Grandma got some extra time with Lily when she came to visit our house for a day. Both Nana Bea and Lily loved this special time together!
Lily is getting so big! It is hard to believe that a whole month has passed since this little bundle of joy came out to bless our family. At her one month appointment today Lily weighed 8lbs. 5.4oz (exactly two pounds more than when she was born) and measured at 21.25 inches long. What a sweet little thing she still is!
