Lily took her first steps Sunday morning. She had a couple good streaks of 4-7 steps before collapsing. It was fun for a bit, but then she decided she was done.
Lily must have decided walking was too much work. We kept encouraging her to walk and cheering when she took a few steps, but it wasn't meant to be for a while. While we tried to stand her up, she just folded up her legs and refused to stand. So we let her take her time. Over the next month she got more curious about walking and started to see the advantages. She even walked on her knees for a bit, realizing that if she wasn't crawling she could hold her toys easier. And she was an expert speed crawler who could zip around quiet effectively. Then, in her own time she decided she was ready. Now she loves to walk, especially outside! She loves her new freedom and her cute shoes!

Christmas Day
Christmas Afternoon we headed over to my parents to be spoiled at yet another Christmas celebration. One tradition I had growing up was opening a new set of pjs to sleep in Christmas Eve. Well we kept that tradition alive with our kids and even managed to get all the cousins in matching pjs! What a fun bunch!

Lily got her "baby" which continues to be one of her favorite toys and her rocking lamb which is so cute.
