Jeff turned 30 in the beginning of February and for his birthday we had some friends over for a wine tasting. Each friend brought a bottle of wine to try and we spent the evening doing blind taste test, rating each wine, eating good food, and enjoy our time together.
Lily didn't get any wine, but she sure had fun at the party!
After the party, the surprises began! Jeff's mom flew up from Palm Springs to spend his big day with him. While she was here, she made is favorite Beef and Noodles. 
Even Lily got her first taste. Yummy!
Jeff's Birthday was on Friday and since we both worked, we kept the celebration pretty low key.
Until Saturday! We had a surprise lunch for Jeff with his extended family. That morning he had tried to go get his birthday gift- a new hunting gun- but was disappointed after waiting over an hour to realize his license expired on his birthday. When we came home to a house full of family, it was a fun distraction for his disappointment. 
Karin planned a puzzle for Jeff to solve and we all helped. Each clue was attached to a picture and it was fun to revisit many of Jeff's fun times.
