Tea Party

On Nana Bea's actual birthday, all the granddaughters and great-grandkids were invited for a tea party. This was Lily's first tea party and she was so excited. She got dressed for the occasion and was ready to go party at Grandma's.
Before the tea party there was lots of time to play, which is good because all of Lily's cousins love to play together. She just watched, dreaming about when she would be old enough to jump in the fun. Here is Nana Bea playing with little Hudson, who also wishes he could be up running around with his brother and cousins.
And there was time to take a few sneak peaks at all the goodies on the table. Charlie was particularly interested in all that was going on.
Grace, who has had lots of tea parties at Grandma's house, was eager for tea to start. She loves eating strawberries, scones, and jam sandwiches.
Lily spent most the tea party in her bassinet sleeping but she did get to join us for the last few minutes. Nana Bea had decided that for her birthday, she wanted to get everyone else a gift. So Lily joined us to open her present (girly cars so she can still play with all the boys!). Thanks Grandma for throwing such a fun tea party!
